First confirmed tornado in SWFL of 2024 reported near Port Labelle in Hendry County

The first confirmed tornado of 2024 in Southwest Florida occurred Thursday around 5:45 p.m. southeast of Port Labelle in Hendry County, according to Weather Authority Chief Meteorologist Matt Devitt.

No damage has been reported so far with this landspout twister.

Also, several miles away was a separate funnel cloud too.
