Lee deputies rescue cancer patients during heavy flooding

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office posted a video on its Facebook page showing firefighters rescuing cancer patients during heavy rainfall this past week.

According to deputies, patients and employees of a cancer treatment center could not leave the building due to flooded roadways.

Deputies did not specify the location of the cancer treatment center nor when the rescue occurred.
