The Fort Myers Police Department arrested a man who allegedly ran a street-level drug operation out of his home.

According to police, Terry Williams, 54, was arrested on Wednesday after a search warrant was obtained at his residence located at 2721 Colonial Boulevard.

Williams had been under investigation following an undercover controlled buy operation, a spotting operation, and multiple surveillance operations had been conducted.

An FMPD SWAT team and Special Enforcement Division were deployed to investigate Williams’ home.

Police stated that William’s operation was considered the hub for street-level drug sales and was associated with an overdose death that had occurred.

In their operation, the following items had been seized by the FMPD:

  • Twenty grams of Fentanyl
  • One hundred and fifty-three grams of Cocaine
  • Sixty-six grams of Substituted Cathinones
  • Five grams of Synthetic Cannabinoids
  • two handguns and 1 AR-15 platform pistol
  • $5,255

Williams was then arrested and charged with multiple drug trafficking offenses with intent to sell and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
