CREDIT: Preferred Transportation Services The Collier County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a vehicle crash with injuries shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday. According to CCSO, one person was transported to an area hospital for their injuries after the two-vehicle crash. Northbound lanes experienced heavy traffic backups trying to leave the Island as authorities responded to the scene. Video from the crash site shows emergency services responding to the area.
