Credit: WINK News The Fort Myers Fire Department responded to a hotel fire on Cleveland Avenue early Thursday morning. Guests at the Rodeway Inn were unexpectedly awakened by the blaze that damaged 11 rooms. Credit: WINK News All guests of the Rodeway Inn were evacuated while firefighters worked the scene. According to the FMFD, the fire was contained; however, the cause of the fire is under investigation. The state Fire Marshal was called to aid in the investigation. The 11 rooms that became uninhabitable were relocated to the next-door building. No injuries were reported.
