Traffic has started to move after a car ended up fully engulfed by flames in the southbound lanes of Alligator Alley around Mile Marker 78. According to a witness, the crash happened on Friday near construction on the Alley, a portion of Interstate 75. The front tire of the burning car appeared to be sideways. Fire crews responded to the scene at around 11:30 a.m. Friday, and the fire was put out. There were injuries reported in the crash. The extent of the injuries, however, remains unknown.
