The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man for allegedly attacking his co-workers while brandishing a fake gun.

Deputies arrested Leodanis Dominguez after a report of a robbery on Sunset Road in Lehigh Acres on Thursday.

According to LCSO, Dominguez and two other people worked on a construction site.

He became agitated when he discovered he was not being paid for the job.

According to deputies, Dominguez then began to wave the phony firearm at his co-workers before punching one in the face. He then grabbed a cell phone from someone who attempted to record the incident.

After the report had been filed, deputies went to Dominguez’s residence, where they arrested and charged him with robbery and battery.

It was discovered following the arrest that the gun he had brandished was fake.
