The Lee County Domestic Animal Services is waiving adoption fees during their “EmptyTheShelter” promotion from now until July 31, in partnership with the BISSELL Pet Foundation. For the remainder of the month, all adoption fees are waived with an approved application. The shelter has 70 dogs, and 90 cats and kittens available. The adoption center is located at 5600 Banner Drive in Fort Myers. The hours are Monday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m..
