A Collier County judge has sentenced a 33-year-old man to life in prison after a 2020 murder.

Kenneth Rejenda Tannassee, who was homeless at the time of the murder, will spend his life in prison for the killing of a 58-year-old woman.

According to CCSO, the victim was discovered close to 2:15 p.m. in the parking lot of the Home Depot on Airport-Pulling Road in August of 2020.

A friend of the victim informed WINK News about her before law enforcement confirmed the death.

Tannassee was convicted of second-degree murder and witness tampering in February.
