A man is accused of robbing a Lehigh Acres RaceTrac at gunpoint. On Wednesday, deputies responded to the RaceTrac on Lee Boulevard and Alvin Avenue in reference to a robbery with a firearm. An employee working during the robbery told deputies that a man entered the store wearing a green ski mask, gloves and a backpack. She explained that the man pointed the gun toward her and demanded money. After she handed the suspect $200 from the cash register, he fled in a black 4-door sedan, which traveled north on Alvin Ave. Violent Crimes Unit detectives are actively investigating the situation and following all leads.
