Duo accused of selling fentanyl in Cape Coral

Two people from Charlotte County have been arrested after allegedly selling fentanyl in Cape Coral.

According to the Cape Coral Police Department, detectives received information that 34-year-old Samantha Cupani had been selling Fentanyl.

Cupani would reportedly drive from Port Charlotte to Cape Coral to distribute Fentanyl. Narcotics detectives then launched an investigation. 

On Thursday, Cupani and her alleged accomplice, 37-year-old Donald Acquarelli, were found at Santa Barbara Boulevard selling Fentanyl. 

Detectives arrested Cupani and Acquarelli. They’re both being charged with possession and sale of a controlled substance.
