CREDIT: UC BREAKING Authorities are investigating a deadly crash that occurred in Bonita Springs on Friday evening. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6 p.m. near Via Palacio Ave. and Old U.S. 41. According to a report from the FHP, a Ford F-150 was traveling north on Old US-41, south of Channel 30 Drive. At the same time, a tow truck hauling another truck was traveling north on Old US 41 ahead of the F-150. As the tow truck slowed down to make a right turn onto Channel Drive, the F-150 failed to slow down, causing the front of the truck to collide with the back of the tow truck.
