Photo via CBS News. Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a woman in North Fort Myers. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. Monday near Del Prado Boulevard North and Sabal Springs Boulevard. FHP reported that a vehicle was driving east on Del Prado Boulevard North by a 48-year-old male from North Fort Myers. A 70-year-old woman from North Fort Myers was standing in the eastbound travel lane of Del Prado Boulevard North, east of Sabal Springs Boulevard. According to FHP, the vehicle then collided with the woman, killing her. The crash remains under investigation.
