There are three ways to do this: Online at DiasterAssistance.gov By downloading the FEMA App By calling the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362 You’ll need to have the following available: Your address and zip code Condition of your damaged home Insurance information if available Social security number Phone number FEMA representatives are making this easy for Lee County homeowners. They’ve got boots on the ground in neighborhoods there, registering people for disaster aid to get the ball rolling. But a reminder: You can call the FEMA helpline to verify that the FEMA visit is legitimate. And remember, a disaster aid team member will never ask for your money and will always be wearing a badge with a photograph.
