Man wanted for armed robbery in Fort Myers

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is seeking information on a man wanted for an armed robbery in Fort Myers.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, on Sept. 25, at approximately 1:23 a.m., a man robbed a victim at gunpoint at 3641 Palm Beach Blvd.

He reportedly took a black and gray backpack and keys. The man then fled on foot eastbound on Palm Beach Boulevard towards Desoto Avenue.

He was seen dressed in all black, wearing black Nike sneakers, black shorts that covered his knees and a hoodie covering his face, though surveillance seemed to catch his nose and mouth.

He also appears to be heavyset and has some facial hair.
