Credit: WINK News A high-speed pursuit between a Florida Highway Patrol trooper and a vehicle ended in a PIT maneuver in Lee County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a traffic stop was initiated for speeding on State Road 82 near the intersection of Troyer Brothers Road. Upon activation of the emergency lights, the vehicle fled, reaching speeds of more than 112 mph. A pursuit began, and a PIT maneuver was performed on the vehicle, stopping the pursuit. The driver has been arrested on multiple misdemeanor and felony charges. There were no reported injuries.
