The North Port Police Department took to the streets on Thursday to clean up around the city after Hurricane Milton.

According to the North Port Police Department, authorities were helping provide relief, taking calls and cleaning up all around impacted areas on Thursday.

The police department shared a few pictures of the work getting done across the city.

One picture shows six officers, both individually and working together, to lift and toss large branches and debris off the road.

Another picture shows authorities helping two people out of what appears to be a transport truck.

The last two pictures show authorities with chainsaws in their hand next to the road cutting up large trees that may have been blown over by Milton.
