Gage Braatz Credit: The Naples Police Department A Lee County man has been arrested after allegedly battering his ex-girlfriend and stealing her prescription medication in Naples. According to the Naples Police Department, on Tuesday, at approximately 5 p.m., officers responded to a robbery that had just occurred in the parking lot of 4255 9th Street North, Park Shore Plaza. The victim stated that her ex-boyfriend, 24-year-old Gage Braatz, had battered her, physically restrained her, and stole her prescription medication. When the victim was able to escape Braatz’s vehicle, he attempted to strike her with the vehicle and then fled the area. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office assisted the police department in locating and arresting Braatz, who was found hiding in the victim’s home. Braatz is being charged with strong-arm robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and battery.
