Credit: WINK News The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that occurred on Bayshore Road and Twin Brooks Road in North Fort Myers that left one dead on Saturday. Authorities said a black pickup truck was making a U-turn. Only one westbound lane of Bayshore Road is open at this time. Motorists are asked to use extreme caution in the area and seek an alternate route if possible. According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, one person has been transferred to the hospital.
