Welcome E24! The first eaglet from the nest of M15 and F23 has hatched this season, according to the Southwest Florida Eagle camera.

M15 and F23 have both taken turns incubating the eggs to maintain the proper temperature for the eggs.

As of 3:18 p.m. Saturday, the eaglet began to hatch according to the Dick Pritchett Real Estate Eagle Cam website.

At around 3:24 p.m., the eaglet scored around the egg to come out. Shortly after 4 p.m., E24 officially hatched.

Two eaglets were laid earlier this year: The first on Nov. 8, and the second on Nov. 11.
