Final day for private hurricane debris removal in Charlotte County

The final day for private hurricane debris removal in Charlotte County has arrived, as government contractors make their last run-through for the season.

By Thursday, all debris must be placed in the right of way per private property debris removal guidelines.

The county is working with debris hauler AshBritt to remove debris from areas not maintained by the county, such as private roads and rights of way.

To request debris pick-up, contact Charlotte County Public Works at 941-575-3600.
