He stopped by the WINK studio to share details about an upcoming fashion show to benefit the Golisano Children’s Hospital. Three Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida patients and their siblings, along with ten community celebrity models, will take to the runway at the 5th annual Golisano Children’s Hospital Charity Fashion Show, Luncheon & Auction this Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita Springs. Tickets are still available at a cost of $100 per person and include lunch beginning at noon, the fashion show at 1 p.m. featuring “Holiday in Paradise” themed apparel, and an opportunity to win gifts through the auction beginning at 10:30 a.m. Proceeds benefit the Golisano Children’s Hospital capital campaign through the Pelican Landing Fund, which seeks to raise $500,000 to name four private suites in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the new Children’s Hospital building. Patient models include 5-year old Naples resident Avery McCaskill and her older sister Kaleah. McCaskill was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in February 2013 at age three and is currently undergoing treatment at Golisano Children’s Hospital. Jarrid Dodge of Punta Gorda and his younger brother Jaymmes will also model. Jarrid was diagnosed with T Cell All (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) at age seven and is scheduled to complete his chemotherapy this year. Six-year old twins Angelina and Josefina Magnuson will also model in this year’s show. They were born at Golisano Children’s Hospital and Angelina spent her first 14 days in the hospital’s Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. They are now healthy six year-olds living in Bonita Springs. Attendees and non-attendees can also support the event by purchasing chance drawing tickets for $10 each or three for $25 to win a 14 carat white gold and diamond pendant donated by Amore Jewelers of Bonita Springs or $1,000 cash donated by Tom Ostrander of Engel & Voelkers Realty.
