MGN RICHMOND, Wa (CNN) – Microsoft is showing off much more of its upcoming Windows 10 operating system. The company demonstrated Wednesday how the next Windows will work across all devices. The biggest change will be the ability to use holograms, which will display apps in 3D, while using special VR glasses. Microsoft says that Internet Explorer is out and an unknown new web browser will take the reins. The tech giant is in a hurry to replace Windows 8, which saw a weak reception from consumers. Windows 10 is scheduled to ship later this year and will be free to current Windows 8 users.
