FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) – The judge overseeing the murder trial of former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez says she has received a note from a juror.

Judge Susan Garsh began Wednesday’s session by announcing she had received the note. She called the lawyers and Hernandez up to the bench for a private conference on the note and what she said were scheduling issues.

Hernandez is charged in the 2013 killing of semipro football player Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez’s fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins.

On Tuesday, Garsh agreed to prosecutors’ request for immunity for Jenkins. Jenkins will now be compelled to testify or face time behind bars.

Jenkins was in court Wednesday, sitting in her usual seat behind Hernandez. The two smiled at each other, and Hernandez winked at her.
