FORT MYERS, Fla. – Fort Myers police have confirmed a 19-year-old man is dead after a shooting in a driveway Saturday. Police said the teen was shot around 10 a.m. near the intersection of Dora and Ford Streets in the Southward Village Community. Neighbors told a WINK News crew they heard around four or five gunshots. Police tape blocked off an SUV that had bullet holes along the side. Neighbors also told WINK News they saw the teen and someone else running through the neighborhood, and then they heard the gunshots. Neighbors told WINK News they knew the suspect, but at the time this was story was published police had not confirmed the name of the suspect.
