FORT MYERS, Fla. – Fort Myers Police tell WINK News that NFL player and Fort Myers native, Nate Allen was taken into custody late Monday afternoon. Sources tell WINK News Allen was questioned by Fort Myers Police detectives regarding an incident that occurred shortly before they picked him up. Allen played at Cape Coral High School and was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2010. Allen will not be re-signed for the 2015 season. Several media outlets and sports reports say Allen was questioned over an indecent exposure incident and later released.
