HENDRY COUNTY, Fla.- Protesters are speaking out against plans to expand a monkey farm.

They’re concerned about the possibility of bringing thousands of monkeys into the county, claiming nobody was warned.

Neighbors say things are getting worse and more secretive.

At a commissioners court meeting Tuesday, neighbors spoke out against the growing business of Primate Products, a monkey breeding facility located in Immokalee.

They say the company built new monkey houses on its property and will be leasing it to a monkey-breeding company named Bioculture.
