LEE COUNTY, Fla.- The Lee County School Board has settled a lawsuit filed by the family of a man killed in a school bus accident.

Ralston Thomas was driving a Fort Myers city vehicle when a bus driver ran a stop sign and slammed into him.

The crash happened in September 2014.

The school district has agreed to pay his family $200,000, but they also claim Thomas was not wearing a seat belt.
