PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Charlotte County fire and EMS crews have controlled a brush fire located off of Jaeger Avenue and McCabe Street.
The fire was called in around 4 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Crews worked to protect residential homes in the area.
There were no reports of damage to any structures or any injuries.
