LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Deputies have made an arrest in a violent home robbery that happened in broad daylight Tuesday morning.
One of the victims says he was hit with a baseball bat.
It happened around 10 a.m. in the 2800 block of Aldridge Avenue in the south Fort Myers area.
A man living in the home tells WINK News several people, including a child, were inside when two men came running in with weapons.
“The one guy came in the back bedroom where I was at and hit me with a bat. And the other dude sucker punched me. By the time I got up, they had already run through the front door,” said Nick Kapsouris.
The victim says he believes he knows who the suspects are.
Deputies say the community is not in danger.
