PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Detectives are asking the public for information concerning a truck that was reported stolen from a Charlotte County residence and recovered in a canal in North Port.
On Wednesday May 13, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a black 2006 Dodge 1500 pick up missing out of the driveway of a residence in the Murdock area of Port Charlotte.
Later that same day, North Port Police Department notified the sheriff’s office they had located the truck in a waterway in their jurisdiction.
