CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing endangered person.

Audrey Marie Torres, 33, left her residence sometime after midnight on Wednesday.

Authorities say Torres is mentally handicapped with the function of a 7 or 8-year-old.

Her mother believes she may have left with a friend her daughter knows from the Internet known to her as “Raphael Rivera” and that they may be on their way to the Orlando area.

Torres’ mother believes Rivera may have come to their residence sometime around midnight and picked her up. Torres left with her mother’s laptop, debit card, and a pink book bag with flowers on it and a silver lining.

Torres is described as approximately 4 feet 11 inches tall, and weighting 160 pounds.

If you have any information, contact the Cape Coral Police Department at 239-574-3223.
