Sand Castles for Kids celebrates 3 years

NAPLES, Fla. – For the 3rd annual year, the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples is putting their imagination to work and sculpting some masterpieces of art in the sand with help of the LaPlaya Beach Resort and Hotel.

Sand Castles for Kids is a community event that brings families and kids of all ages together for a day of fun in the Florida sun. Thanks to the help of several community sponsors, children and families who would otherwise be unable to participate are also able to take part in the event.

Funds raised at the event go to support the education programs and opportunity’s at the Golisano Children’s Museum, helping children play, learn and dream.

Twenty-five teams make up the filed for competition in different age divisions. Pirates, mermaids and other fun games and prizes will also be apart of the festivities. Teams can register for $125, which includes: Entertainment, activities provided by Coach B Aquatics, team lunch provided by LaPlaya, sand bucket & shovel, prizes and more.
