FORT MYERS, Fla.- Lee County deputies are investigating a shooting that happened at Ortiz and Elvas Avenues. Deputies say at about 5:35 p.m. on Sunday they were dispatched to the 300 block of Ortiz Avenue and discovered a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. Detectives believe the incident may have been a domestic violence situation. Witnesses say they heard three gunshots and saw a woman on the ground bleeding. Deputies are now looking for 51-year-old Ygnacio Sanchez. He is described as a Hispanic man, last seen driving a green Chevrolet Blazer with a Chihuahua inside. Sanchez was last seen wearing a white undershirt with a blue and white striped button down shirt. The condition of the woman who was shot is still unknown. Details are limited at this time, but Trust WINK News to update this story when more information becomes available.
