JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says a woman delivered a baby shortly after being shot in the torso at her home.
The shooting happened early Thursday in Jacksonville. Police say someone shot a barrage of bullets into the home occupied by the woman, three other adults and three children.
The Florida Times-Union (http://bit.ly/1Vb0xhw ) reports the woman was taken to a hospital and the baby was delivered a short time later. The mother and baby are reported to be in stable condition.
It was not clear whether anyone else in the house was injured.
