NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. – Lee County Deputies say one man jumped from a burning car Saturday morning. WINK News was on scene after 2:30 a.m. near the Circle K at 4600 Bayline Drive. The car was charred when we arrived. The man, who didn’t want to be named, told us when he turned onto Bayshore, his Buick SUV was hit, then the car caught fire and he jumped out while it was still in drive. Deputies say witness told them the man’s car was never hit. No injuries were reported.
