Burglars break into John Michaels Diamond and Jewelry

CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Detectives are searching for a group of burglars who broke into the John Michaels Diamond and Jewelry Studio in Cape Coral on Dec. 3.

Shortly before 5 a.m., police responded to the store, located at 1331 Cape Coral Parkway E., after the burglar alarm went off.

Surveillance video shows a group of four suspects forced their way into the jewelry store and made off with cash.

Cape Coral police describe the four suspects as follows:

  1. Black shirt, possibly camo shorts, black athletic shoes with reflective stripes on top and heel. Light colored hood. Light or khaki colored backpack.
  2. Light colored hoodie with T or DC Shoes logo, medium to light colored long pants, light colored shoes, something hanging cape-like on his back.
  3. Black shirt, dark long pants, hood, either a mask or possibly goggles.
  4. Light long sleeve shirt, dark pants, black shoes, shorter than the others. Possibly younger or a girl.
