Suspected thief hits Fort Myers Target twice

FORT MYERS, Fla.- A man is accused of stealing several thousand dollars in electronics on two separate occasions from the Target in The Forum, located on Dynasty Drive.

Fort Myers police say each time, the suspect took shopping bags from the register area, went over to the electronics department and filled the bags with items before leaving the store without paying.

The first theft happened on Nov. 23, just before 10 p.m. The suspect was seen wearing a black button down, short-sleeved shirt with black shorts and black and red slides.

On Dec. 3 shortly before 11 p.m., the same man was seen walking out of the store with unpaid items, wearing a white t-shirt, red athletic shorts, and a black skullcap.

Authorities describe the man as being between 25-30 years of age, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build. He has short hair and a manicured beard.
