BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) – A 19-year-old is accused of fatally shooting a Florida Atlantic University student at an off-campus apartment in Boca Raton.

Police say 19-year-old Nicholas Max Acosta was shot twice Tuesday night in a third-floor apartment of a complex that houses students from FAU, Lynn University and Palm Beach State College.

Police announced the arrest of 19-year-old Donovan Malik Henry Wednesday on the department’s official Twitter account.

According to a news release, Acosta’s girlfriend said five men entered the apartment and ordered the couple to the ground. Acosta was shot. She told police a bag of marijuana was missing after the shooting. Police checked Acosta’s phone and found a text conversation that led them to Henry.

Henry, a soccer player at FAU, faces first-degree murder and robbery charges. It’s not clear whether he’s hired an attorney. Police are searching for the other four suspects.
