Fort Myers mobile home park settles discrimination lawsuit

FORT MYERS, Fla. – A North Fort Myers is accused of violating the Fair Housing Act by discouraging people of color.

Mere’s Mobile Home Park on Tamiami Trail agreed to a $40,000 settlement after the park manager turned away black people, according to federal prosecutors.
