
LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Voters lined up outside 10 early voting sites before 11AM Saturday. Many voters believe their votes will make a mark in history.

According to the Lee County Supervisor of Elections office, more than 3,000 voters cast their ballots Saturday. In Collier county, more than 2,800 made it out for the first day of early voting.
Voters reported minimal delays, and many were able to get in and our in less than an hour.
They tell WINK News the voting process also went smoothly, even while using new voting machines that caused controversy last year.
While many voters had opposing views on some of the most talked about candidates, including Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and Bernie Sanders, all agreed voting early or on election day is more important than ever.
“If you look at certain elections a lot of these elections are won by very very small margins, so it does matter. It does make a difference, it really does.” said Ian Rankin, a Trump supporter.
