MIAMI (AP) – A person familiar with the situation says free agent running back Arian Foster has agreed to meet Tuesday with the Miami Dolphins, who have had trouble finding a replacement for Lamar Miller.

The person confirmed the visit to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Monday because the Dolphins have not commented.

Foster is recovering from surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon and has said he plans to play this season. He made the Pro Bowl four times in seven years with the Houston Texans, who released him this month after he missed 12 games last season because of injuries.

The Dolphins need a reinforcement at running back to complement second-year pro Jay Ajayi after Miller signed with Houston.
