DOVER, Fla. (AP) – Authorities say a handyman suspected in the deaths of a Tampa Bay area couple has been arrested in Kentucky.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports in a news release that Kentucky State Police arrested 48-year-old Michael Anthony Herald Friday afternoon near a county park in Hazard, Kentucky. He had been driving the couple’s white 2015 Ford Explorer.

Authorities say Herald has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, and Florida detectives were flying to Kentucky to interview him.

Hillsborough County deputies found 76-year-old John Englehart and 73-year-old Nancy Englehart dead inside a shed near their Dover home Thursday evening. A neighbor had called the sheriff’s office after noticing mail stacked up and realizing they had not been seen for several days.
