Roundabout construction to begin at SFM intersection

FORT MYERS, Fla.- A roundabout will soon be built at the intersection of Crystal Drive and Plantation Road in south Fort Myers.

The project will take three months and cost $760,000, county officials said.

The decision to put in the roundabout was made more than five years ago. In the past four years, there have been 25 crashes at the intersection, county leaders said.
