Take a bite out of the 21st Taste of the Beach

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla.- For the 21st year, Fort Myers Beach is alive with the sights, sounds and, of course, smells of delicious food.

The Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce is proud once again to celebrate the annual Taste of the Beach, on Sunday, May 1. This year, 16 different restaurants will take place in the festival, serving up some of the best food in paradise.

Beachgoers will have the chance to enjoy some of the best food on the beach. Participating restaurants will also compete for their chance to win at the Taste of the Beach.

Restaurants will be judged on their dishes for titles in: Best Appetizer, Best Beef or Veal Dish, Best Seafood Dish, Best Chicken Dish, Best Dessert, Best Decorated Booth, and People’s Choice.

The event runs 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 for entry and children under 12 are free, food tickets are just $1 each, live music will also entertain the crowd. The Taste of the Beach takes place along Old San Carlos Blvd. down from Times Square.
