FORT MYERS, Fla.- Lee Memorial Health System will soon be known as “Lee Health” following approval of the new name and graphic logo by the Board of Directors on Thursday. The official change will take place on October 3 as the Lee Memorial Health System marks its 100th anniversary, hospital officials said. “The 100th anniversary of our health care system is the perfect time to celebrate our past, while solidifying our commitment to constant evolution and improvement,” said Kevin Newingham, chief strategy officer for Lee Memorial Health System. The legal name of the organization will remain the same, as well as individual facilities within the system, including all hospitals and existing outpatient facilities, officials said.
