Lee deputies look for pickup truck driver involved in hit and run

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a pickup truck that was involved in a hit and run near Gunnery Road and 15th Southwest Friday.

Deputies said someone driving a pickup truck headed southbound on Gunnery Road hit a Honda. The driver of the Honda lost control, hitting a curb and then hitting a Nissan. Deputies said the driver of the truck then left the scene.

On person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, seven others had minor injuries.
