Scattered p.m. storms to develop inland, move toward coast

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Scattered storms will start inland and push toward the Southwest Florida coast in the afternoons and evenings Saturday and Sunday.

Heavy rain and lightning are the major risks involved in the storms Otherwise, it’ll be hot, with highs in the low to mid-90s. Heat index values will rise into the 100s.

Overnight lows will dip to the mid 70s.
