Flooded streets not conducive to Zika-carrying mosquito

NAPLES, Fla. – Warnings about the Zika-carrying mosquitoes might make you concerned about flooded streets, huge puddles and overflowing ditches. But the mosquito that carries the virus prefers small containers around your home.

It is important that residents remain vigilant because the weather is hindering mosquito control’s efforts.
