Memorial built to honor those who died on El Faro

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A memorial lighthouse was unveiled in Jacksonville on Saturday to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the 33 people who died on the El Faro.

The ship sank off the coast of the Bahamas during Hurricane Joaquin.

Jeremy Riehm, Howard Schoenly, Steven Schultz and Keith Griffin of Lee County were among those lost at sea.
